KLEINspiration
Erin Klein is an extraordinary woman. Not only is she an award winning educator, but she also juggles between being a mother, an author, national keynote speaker, and much much more. Klein is the founder and owner of KLEINspiration, an educational website that explores creative ways of integrating technology into classroom curriculum. It is very evident that she is passionate about her work. Outside of being a full-time classroom teacher, Klein also travels around the United States and shares her passion for teaching and technology with thousands of educators in her audience. She shares that being a current educator helps to make her examples and strategies more constructive, current and relevant. Klein is also certified in Brain Gym, a program that is dedicated to the principle that moving with intention leads to optimal learning. She has also served as a classroom design consultant and creative partner for the publishing company, Carson-Dellosa. Klein was also named the technology co-chair of the Michigan Reading Association, as well as a SMART Technologies Exemplar Educator. In 2013, she was awarded her districts Teacher of the Year award and in 2014 Klein was a recipient of the MACUL Pre-K through 12 Teacher of the Year award for the state of Michigan. Also in 2014, she was selected to serve on the state of Michigan's Voice Fellowship, through America Achieves. Outside of all her other accomplishments, Klein also was recently awarded the Study Blue Crystal Tiffany Apple and was announced the winner of the Really Good Stuff Classroom Blog Contest. One of her most recent accomplishments would be when she was selected as one of nine professionals selected to be a key speaker on Future Ready Schools at the National Digital Learning Day in Washington D.C. In the past few years, Klein has been repeatedly invited back to Washington D.C. to represent the BAM 100 Influential Voices in Education. Erin Klein continues to work on shaping teacher leadership and technology all around the country. She is truly an inspirational woman to look up to.
